July 30, 2025: Belle's Picks & Player Props ⚾️

July 30, 2025

Today's Picks

-PHI Phillies v CHI White Sox Over 9.0 (-115) | 0.25 Units

-NY Mets v SD Padres Over 8.5 (-105) | 0.25 Units

-TEX Rangers Team Total Over 4.5 (+105) | 0.5 Units

-TEX Rangers ML (-125) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

PHI Phillies v CHI White Sox: Philadelphia vs the White Sox bullpen? I’ll take the Over, here. And as you all know, my Taijuan Walker PTSD is still alive and well – and for good reason, lately! Walker has allowed 5 Home Runs over his last 2 starts, and the Over has cashed in 4 of his last 5 outings. Assuming the rain lifts up, I say this total goes Over 9.0, friends.

NY Mets v SD Padres: This is going to be a tough game for a couple of reasons. One, I think it’s wildly unlikely that Juan Soto plays this afternoon due to his injury. Two, Yu Darvish (9.18 ERA) has been simply awful (sorry, bud). The Padres are a solid team on their own field with a 33-18 home record, but the Mets should put a healthy number of runs on the board with Darvish on the mound. On the other side, NY starter Clay Holmes (3.32 ERA) has allowed 5 ERs over his last two starts – I think San Diego gets enough past him to push this total Over 8.5.

TEX Rangers v LA Angels: Texas starter Nathan Eovaldi (1.50 ERA) is about as close to a pitching unicorn as they come as of late. With only 4 ERs across his last 5 starts, it’s relatively safe to say the Angels will have a tough time getting anything past him. To my point: Eovaldi’s last start against the Angels on July 8th saw the Rangers win 13-1…and as it so happens, Jose Soriano (3.79 ERA) was also the starting pitcher for this encounter. While Soriano is a solid pitcher, he’s actually worse at home than he is overall (Home ERA 5.37). I know the books favour a low-scoring game, but I think Texas may overachieve against Soriano for a second time here. I say the visitors take a win and put at least 5 in the bag.

July 29, 2025: Belle's Prop of the Day ⚾️🛎️

July 31, 2025

A little bonus sprinkle I like for this evening...

-CHI Cubs v MIL Brewers: Quinn Priester 6+ Strikeouts (+150)

Why This Prop?

Quinn Priester (3.28 ERA) has faced some pretty decent teams over his last couple games, and still managed to bag 16 strikeouts over just 2 outings. Make no mistake, the Cubs are a tough offense – but it appears as though Priester tends to fair better against a challenge (see his encounters with the Mariners & the Dodgers). At an impressive 5-1 at home, I’ve tossed a sprinkle on the Brewers starter to clear at least 6 Ks this evening.

Today's Picks

-PHI Phillies v CHI White Sox Over 9.0 (-120) | 0.25 Units

-DET Tigers Team Total Over 4.5 (-110) | 0.25 Units

-LV Aces v LA Sparks Over 174.5 (-110) | 0.25 Units

-LA Sparks +2.5 (-110) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

LV Aces v LA Sparks: LA is currently riding a 5-game win streak, friends – and to be honest, I’m surprised they’re the underdog here, especially given that they beat Las Vegas back on June 11th by 8 points (in Las Vegas, no less). With tons of momentum behind them and the home advantage, at the very least, I have to take the Sparks to cover. As far as the total goes, with the Sparks having bagged at least 92 points in their last 5 straight games (fingers crossed their win streak continues!), this encounter should fly Over 175.5. Neither of these teams is solid on defense; I fully expect a fast-paced shootout today. Take Over 175.5 to cash.

ARI Diamondbacks v DET Tigers: The Diamondbacks offense has been a total no-show lately having scored a mere 1 run over their last 3 games. With Brandon Pfaadt (4.76 ERA) on the mound this evening for Arizona, I don’t think the Tigers will have any issues scoring. I’d generally love the Over to cash here, but until the Diamondbacks wake up, I simply don’t trust their offense. I’ll roll with Detroit to put at least 5 in the bag.

PHI Phillies v CHI White Sox: Jonathan Cannon’s (4.48 ERA) last 4 straight starts have resulted in the Over cashing – and shockingly, his last 5 straight starts have also resulted in a win for the White Sox (…). Comically, 4 of Luzardo’s last 5 starts have resulted in a loss for the Phillies, and have see the Over cash. I’ll let you do with some of this information what you will (lol), but today, my money’s on the Over.

I had to hop on this one today, friends! LA is currently riding a 5-game win streak  – and to be honest, I’m surprised they’re the underdog here, especially given that they beat Las Vegas back on June 11th by 8 points (...in Las Vegas, no less). July 28, 2025: Belle's Picks, Player Props & Parlays (Premium) ⚾️

July 28, 2025

Why These Picks?

-TOR Blue Jays Team Total Over 4.5 (-115) | 0.5 Units

-ARI Diamondbacks v DET Tiger Over 9.0 (-115) (alternate total) | 0.25 Units

-LA Dodgers -1.5 (+105) | 0.25 Units

-MIA Marlins ML (-105) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

TOR Blue Jays v BAL Orioles: The pitching matchup here is seemingly one-sided, friends. 4 of Chris Bassitt’s (3.88 ERA) last 5 starts have resulted in a Blue Jays win, but his ERA on the road (5.66) is pretty similar to Eflin’s. That said, I fully expect the visitors to put at least 5 runs on the board here. Baltimore starter Zach Eflin’s (5.78 ERA) last 4 straight starts have resulted in a loss for the Orioles. To boot, 3 of those 4 losses saw their opponents bag at least 7 runs – and to be frank, those opponents didn’t have offenses nearly as solid as the Blue Jays’ current batting lineup. With Toronto having scored at least 5 runs in their last 5 straight wins over the Orioles, my money’s on the Jays to bag at least 5 today.

ARI Diamondbacks v DET Tigers: Between Tigers starter Troy Melton (10.80 ERA) and Diamondbacks starter Eduardo Rodriguez, I can’t imagine that this game sees a total of less than 9. To be fair, Melton has only had one start so far this season, but it wasn’t a good one at 6 ERs. So long as the Diamondbacks batting lineup doesn’t decide to no-show for a third game in a row, I say this encounter easily sees 10. FYI, I’ve gone with an alternate of 9.0 instead of 8.5 at the lesser return (I’ll happily risk a ‘Push’ here for a bit more money).

LA Dodgers v CIN Reds: Yoshinobu Yamamoto (2.55 ERA) is a far better arm than Chase Burns (6.65 ERA), friends. To be frank, this is not the kind of game the Dodgers can be dropping. Assuming LA's offense turns up, this should be a solid win for them. My money's on the Dodgers to cover the RL.

MIA Marlins v STL Cardinals: If the Marlins can go toe-to-toe with the Brewers in Milwaukee, they can undoubtedly beat the Cardinals with Andre Pallante (4.91 ERA) on the mound. Pallante’s last 5 straight starts have resulted in a loss for St. Louis – 3 of which were total shutouts. Miami has been playing far too well for me not to go for the upset, and I think starter Edward Cabrera (3.48 ERA) can keep the Cardinals at bay long enough for his team to secure a victory. Give me the Marlins to win.
