-STL Cardinals v BAL Orioles Over 8.0 (-115) | 0.25 Units
-STL Cardinals ML (+100) | 0.25 Units
Why This Pick?
STL Cardinals v BAL Orioles: I admit, Cade Povich (4.86 ERA) has a few nice starts under his belt. That said, do I trust him as a reliable arm on a regular basis? Absolutely not. Povich's ERA is still hovering just under 5, and once the Baltimore bullpen comes in, I think this game is going to turn into a slugfest. To boot, I honestly can't remember the last time the Orioles won a game as the favoured team (lol). I'm on the Over to hit and on the Cardinals to pull off a victory here.
MIN Twins v TB Rays: Both of today's pitchers are wildly capable. Twins starter Pablo Lopez has an ERA of 2.31 with over 54 strikeouts under his belt, and fares even better on the road with an Away ERA of 1.55. On the other side, Rays starter Drew Rasmussen carries an admirable 2.34 ERA overall (his Home ERA sits at 2.50). I'm on the Under to cash, betting fam.
The Athletics v HOU Astros: This game should fly over 8 runs, friends. The Astros offense was firing on all cylinders against the Athletics yesterday – and while I don't think Severino (4.11 ERA) will slow them down a whole ton, I do think the Athletics will bag more than a few off of McCullers (6.57 ERA) this afternoon. I'll take the Over to hit.
WAS Nationals v SEA Mariners: I’ll be frank: I don’t love either pitcher on the mound today. Mariners starter George Kirby (12.27 ERA) had a rough season debut, and the Nationals are rolling with Trevor Williams this evening who’s boasting an ERA of 6.39. The reason for this pick? I know the Nationals haven’t scored more than 6 runs over their last 4 outings, but something tells me they’ll be able to put more than a few on the board against Kirby. In addition, the Seattle offense is wide awake, and should have no issue bagging runs with Williams on the mound. I say both teams contribute to this total and the Over cashes.

This might be the most conflicted I've ever been with a betting day, friends. Overall, we walked out of this day mad profitable – which is wild for a few reasons. Tonight, our VIP Parlay hit, our Premium Parlay hit, AND our Player Props went 4/4. And yet somehow, our single picks went 0/5?! WTF? I have so many thoughts on tonight's games – but mainly, WTF Diamondbacks? You know what, I digress – I'll get to that... For those curious, here's everything we had tonight:

Some days, MLB can be a real pain in the ass (lol). Exclusive tier friends, I will make this up to you :) I know some of the tiers do better on some nights than others, but this one felt wildly unfair. At the very least, I thought the Diamondbacks would hold on at 6-2...but somehow the Pirates came back and won 9-6?! This game result felt like a freak accident 😂
It's been a weird few weeks. It's funny how a week of taking losses can make you feel shitty about even your best betting strategies. Hell, any time in the red feels like an eternity!
Comically, it takes almost no time to get back into the winning column. 💰😉 Keep that in mind, friends! Because yes, single game picks were brutal tonight, but that didn't stop me from making it back and then some elsewhere! And rest assured, we will make those single pick losses back elsewhere.
Tomorrow's a new day, friends! I'll see you all bright and early to do it all again (Exclusive Tier, your turn to sweep...)

Why These Picks?
CHI White Sox v NY Mets: 9 of the last 10 encounters between these two teams have seen 8 runs or less; that’s an overwhelming statistic. On the mound, Tylor Megill (3.56 ERA) is one of New York’s best pitchers, and while Jonathan Cannon (3.76 ERA) is no ace, he’s one of the White Sox’s stronger arms. Between today’s two starters and an extensive history of low-scoring meetings, I’m on the Under to cash.
CIN Reds v KC Royals: I stayed off of this matchup yesterday, but today? I can't resist throwing down on this pitching matchup. Kansas City starter David Lynch is an impressive 3-1 with a 1.57 ERA against Cincinnati's Brady Singer (4.88 ERA, 5-3). That said, Singer's Away ERA presently sits at 6.66. My money's on the Royals to turn up & bag a home win.
ATL Braves v PHI Phillies: I love this pick due to my dislike for the bullpens on both sides of this wager. While I think both squads will bag a few runs early, I have a feeling the later innings are going to see a healthy number of runs hit the board. I've gotta go with the Over.
SF Giants v DET Tigers: I just can’t get behind the Tigers with Jack Flaherty on the mound; the man is 2-6 going up against San Francisco’s Logan Webb’s 5-4 this afternoon. Meanwhile, the Giants have alternated wins & losses over their last 7 outings. Despite the Giants’ offense not being as consistent as I’d like it to be, Detroit’s batting lineup has also cooled off quite a bit over the last couple weeks. My money’s on the better pitching staff today, friends – take SF to win.
PIT Pirates v ARI Diamondbacks: Corbin Burnes (2.73 ERA) vs a rookie and the Pirates offense? I’ll bet. This should be a comfortable victory for Arizona, betting fam. To be fair, Mike Burrows (7.20 ERA) has only had one outing so far this season – and I might’ve taken my chances on him if Pittsburgh’s batting lineup was stronger…but Corbin Burnes is just too dialled at the moment. I imagine today’s encounter will go a lot like yesterday’s did (the Diamondbacks won 5-0). I’m on Arizona to cover the RL.

What a strange day in baseball, friends. I'll start with the good news: today's parlay & props kept us decent! The bad news is picks took a loss today – and what a crazy few losses they were. For those curious about today's parlay, here's what we had:
Parlay (+445) 🎉
SF Giants v DET Tigers Under 9 (alternate total) (-135) ✅
LA Dodgers ML (-165) ✅
LA Dodgers v CLE Guardians Over 7.5 (-105) ✅

As for our single picks... Somehow (I still don't understand it...) the Orioles smoked the St. Louis Cardinals today. This one stunned me – the Orioles have been playing like hot garbage all season (literally ALL season...) and the Cardinals offense has been solid. Of course, not today... ha ha! The entire St. Louis baseball team was asleep at the switch, and Baltimore beat them 5-2.
Our Pick of the Day was a miss – the Cubs loaded the bases a couple times; even the Rockies managed to advance runners! But they just weren't bagging runs the way we'd hoped.
Lastly, the Carolina Hurricanes actually shutout the Panthers this evening. Given how absent they seemed from the first two games in this series, I was surprised they were able to keep Florida off the score board.
---
This was a tough week, betting fam – but we'll rally! I'll be posting a fun Round Robin for everyone tomorrow so that we've all got a chance to bag some big bucks ;)
ON ANOTHER NOTE: I have some MASSIVE, HUGE, RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME NEWS dropping this week. 😆👏🏽 It's been in the works for quite some time now – to be honest, I'm shocked I've been able to keep it a secret. 😂 I can barely contain my excitement. Keep your eyes peeled for my "big news". 👀
On that note, I'm off to bed, betting fam. As always, I'll be up bright and early with picks, props & parlays – I feel a sweep on the horizon ;)

-COL Rockies v CHI Cubs Over 7.5 (-120) | 0.5 Units
-STL Cardinals ML (-115) | 0.5 Units
-FLA Panthers 3-Way ML (-110) | 0.25 Units
Why These Picks?
COL Rockies v CHI Cubs: Not only do I think the Cubs can bag 8 runs over the Rockies by themselves, but Jameson Taillon (4.13 ERA) is far from Chicago's best starter (sorry dude, it’s not personal…) As bad as the Rockies have been, I do think they’ll bag 2-3 off of Taillon today – which, cuts Chicago’s workload down to only needing to bag about 5 or 6 runs. The Cubs’ offense is far too explosive to safely wager Under 7.5 against any squad in my opinion. And with Colorado starting Carson Palmquist (11.88 ERA), I think there’s a good chance Chicago cashes the total on their own. I’m on the Over today.
STL Cardinals v BAL Orioles: Despite the Orioles picking up a rare win yesterday over the Red Sox, all the value still lies in fading them. The Cardinals are coming off a sweep of the Arizona Diamondbacks; pulling off a win over Baltimore should be light work with the pitching advantage in tow (St. Louis starts Erick Fedde today, 3.77 ERA). On the other side, the Orioles have Charlie Morton (7.68 ERA) on the mound, who's a disappointing 0-7. My money's on the visitors, friends.
CAR Hurricanes v FLA Panthers: The Hurricanes have been less than a footnote in this series so far – I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at least a little bit surprised. The Panthers have dominated the Canes both in Carolina and at home; I don't think they'll have any issue locking down a regulation win today. Take Florida to win without the need for OT.
