Aug 13, 2025: Belle's Picks, Player Props & Parlays ⚾️

August 13, 2025

Today's Picks

-KC Royals -1.5 (+120) | 0.5 Units

-MIL Brewers -1.5 (-120) | 0.25 Units

-MIL Brewers Team Total Over 4.5 (-110) | 0.25 Units

-ARI Diamondbacks v TEX Rangers Over 8.0 (-115) | 0.25 Units

-NY Mets -1.5 (+105) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

WAS Nationals v KC Royals: It's bold, friends – I know. But, the Nationals bullpen always sends me for plus money and the RL. Starter Seth Lugo (2.69 ERA) has also been the definition of solid at home, and Washington starter Jake Irvin’s last 3 straight losses have been by at least 5 runs. Lastly, Kansas City has won their last 4 straight meetings with the Nationals by at least 3. If you think the Royals snag a victory today (and I do…) the RL is the play. I say the Royals complete the sweep and win by at least two.

PIT Pirates v MIL Brewers: Until Milwaukee gives me a reason to stop betting on them to win by copious amounts of runs, I’ll roll with them. Brewers starter Brandon Woodruff (2.29 ERA) is a flawless 4-0, and while Pittsburgh’s Mitch Keller is far from terrible, I just don’t think he’ll get the support of his offense required to keep up with the brew crew. I’m on Milwaukee to cover the RL and put at least 5 in the bag.

ATL Braves v NY Mets: This pick really comes down to two things, friends. One, I just don’t trust Carlos Carrasco (6.18 ERA) on the mound. Carrasco has allowed 9 earned runs and a staggering 16 hits over his last two starts – the Mets should have no issue running up a total here. And while I do think David Peterson (2.98 ERA) is the better arm in this matchup, he’s also been pretty hittable in his last two starts having allowed 6 runs and 9 hits.

Aug 12, 2025: Picks Hit 3/4 👊🏽, Post-Game Recap 😌☕️

August 12, 2025

Great news, friends: 3/4 of our picks were a hit today! 🎉 A big congrats to everyone that tailed. For those curious, here's what we had:

Picks (3/4)

-MIL Brewers ML (-125) ✅

-KC Royals Team Total Over 4.5 (-130) ✅

-KC Royals -1.5 (+110) ✅

-PHI Phillies -1.5 (-110) ❌

Player Props (1/2)

-Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 1.5 Total Bases (+100) ✅

-J.T. Realmuto Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110) (VOIDED, RULED OUT)

-Kyle Schwarber Over 1.5 Total Bases (-110) ❌

---

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't super salty about Philly (and Kyle Schwarber!) being a total no show. CIN Reds starter Brady Singer pitched like Cy Young today, and Ranger Suarez was a mess out there on the mound (sorry dude, I don't make it true!) 😂

I will say, I'm thrilled that we also tossed half a unit on the KC Royals Team Total play, as it made up for the Philly player prop fail. Speaking of props, shout out to Vladimir Guerrero Jr. for snagging 2 bases and getting us the plus money return 😉

Lastly, a bit of fun news: the "Belle's Picks" app is NEARLY DONE! 🤩 I should have it out the door before August comes to a close, friends. Yes, that means push notifications for picks will return shortly! I appreciate your patience.

Alright everyone I'm off for the evening – enjoy the rest of your night! And as always, I'll see you all bright and early to conquer the books.

Aug 12, 2025: Belle's Picks, Player Props & Parlays (Premium) ⚾️

August 12, 2025

Today's Picks

-PHI Phillies -1.5 (-110) | 0.25 Units

-MIL Brewers ML (-125) | 0.25 Units

-KC Royals Team Total Over 4.5 (-130) | 0.5 Units

-KC Royals -1.5 (+110) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

PHI Phillies v CIN Reds: I am whole-heartedly on the Phillies here, friends. Cincinnati starter Brady Singer (4.53 ERA) has allowed 10 hits in just his last 2 outings – Philadelphia’s offense should run right over him. The visitors will start Ranger Suarez (2.94 ERA) and while Suarez has had a rough couple of starts, he’s been pitching far better on the road than he has been at home lately. I’m on Philly to cover the RL today.

PIT Pirates v MIL Brewers: This is a nice price for Milwaukee to win outright, betting fam. The first half of this game will likely be a bit of a stalemate with Freddy Peralta and Paul Skenes on the mound, but as soon as Skenes exits this game, Milwaukee will take over in my opinion. Despite Pittsburgh’s Ace on the mound, I say the Brewers bag home win.

WAS Nationals v KC Royals: With Mitchell Parker (5.43 ERA) starting for Washington on the road, Kansas City should bag a win here with ease. Parker has allowed a whopping 12 earned runs in just his last two starts. Meanwhile, Michael Wacha (3.36 ERA) is solid at home, and his last 4 straight starts have resulted in a Royals win by at least 2 runs. I’ll take the home squad to cover the RL and put at least 5 runs on the board today.

Aug 12, 2025: Belle's Pick of the Day 🛎️

August 12, 2025

-PHI Phillies v CIN Reds: Kyle Schwarber Over 1.5 Total Bases (-110) | 0.5 Units

Why This Pick?

Cincinnati starter Brady Singer (4.53 ERA) has allowed 10 hits in just his last 2 outings, friends. With today’s starter being entirely hittable so to speak, I imagine the entire Phillies lineup will get a piece. That said, if I’m picking favourites, my money’s on Kyle Schwarber to snag at least 2 bases today.
