Toss in the fact that they’ll be highly motivated to avoid getting swept? My money’s on the home squad’s offense to turn up this afternoon.

MIA Marlins v NY Mets: Miami starter Sandy Alcantara (5.87 ERA) is pretty rough on the road. With an Away ERA of 8.03, I have to imagine that this will be Open Season for the Mets batting lineup. I’ll take both the Over to cash and the home team to win by at least 2.

DET Tigers v KC Royals: Kansas City starter Michael Wacha (3.39 ERA) is undoubtedly his best self at home, and as we all know, Tarik Skubal (2.28 ERA) is basically his best everywhere (lol). I think runs will be tough to come by in this match up, but ultimately I think the Tigers will end up taking the win (3-1 Detroit is my prediction...) My money's on the Tigers to cover the RL and the Under to cash.

This is an easy one for me, friends. As for picks, we literally hit 0/4 today – how, I'll never know. I have to be honest, I am crazy salty over today's Alabama/Florida State game. The Crimson Tide was an absolute mess out there (and that's being kind!) Their defense started pulling their weight in the second half, but that first half was pure pain to watch. In addition, we had Over 48.5 to cash...final total? 48. 🤯

Florida State fans: I'm happy for you. And I know, I know – just the way it goes some days. BUT, thankfully, Player Props kept us from losing our shirts 😂

One last thing before I turn in for the night: JEFF HOFFMAN AGAIN! I can't believe the Toronto Blue Jays still put him out there in the 9th inning. The Brewers bagged 2 HRs off of him and locked down a win. I'm convinced that Jays opponents must see Hoffman walking out onto the mound and think, "We got this!" 😂

The reality is that once both teams put their bullpens in, each highly capable offense is going to turn up (or hell, one will turn up enough for both!) For this reason, my money's on the Over to hit.

Elder has allowed 12 runs on 17 hits across his last 3 outings – and while that stat is largely impacted by a wild outing he had against the Chicago White Sox (the Braves still pulled off a win…) I still think Ranger Suarez (3.07 ERA) is the far better arm in this matchup. I’m on the home squad to cover the RL and put at least 6 runs in the bag.

TB Rays v WAS Nationals: I simply can’t get behind Washington starter Mitchell Parker (6.01 ERA), friends. Parker has allowed a staggering 16 runs over his last 3 outings on just 12 hits. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay will start Adrian Houser (2.88 ERA) who is undoubtedly the better pitcher. My money’s on the Rays to bag at least 5 runs here as well as on the Over to cash.

ARI Diamondbacks v LA Dodgers: Blake Snell has been untouchable at home, friends. In addition, the Dodgers have won their last 4 games by at least 3 runs. On the other side, Diamondbacks starter Zac Gallen is just 1-5 against the Dodgers over the course of his career, and his last 2 outings resulted in a loss for Arizona (both opponents covered the RL). With Snell being a perfect 3-0 at home and having allowed a mere 2 runs over his last 3 outings, I’ve gotta take the Dodgers to cover here for plus money.
