One team is infinitely better than the other, but San Jose has kept some close games with Dallas over the last couple years. That said, the Over has cashed in 4 of their last 5 matchups, and the Stars should have no issue bagging goals this evening. Take the Over to hit.

BUF Sabres v PHI Flyers: Neither of tonight’s goaltenders (confirmed or otherwise…) are phenomenal, but I really like Philly in this spot. Having won 5 of their last 7 games, this underdog pick comes down to two things: the Flyers play much better defense than the Sabres, and they’ve pulled off some very respectable upsets at home (including wins over the Winnipeg Jets & the Carolina Hurricanes). I think this game will see plenty of goals – the last 8 straight meetings between these two have seen at least 6, but I’m also sprinkling Philly to come out of this one with a win.

POR Trail Blazers v CLE Cavaliers: With the Trail Blazers on the road and on a back-to-back, I think this encounter has a real good chance of being a low-scoring one. In addition, the Cavaliers’ last 6 straight home games have fallen well below 239 – and if you’ve watched a Cleveland home game lately, you know that they’ve been taking their sweet time “getting in the game” so to speak on their own court. My money’s on the Under tonight.
