Friends, I had a good betting day yesterday (Picks 3/4!) However, if you’ve followed me for a while now (or hell, even for a few months…) you probably know that while I love that I hit 3/4 of my picks yesterday…I hate that the ONLY pick we didn’t cash on was Pick of the Day. As for picks, we literally hit 0/4 today – how, I'll never know. I have to be honest, I am crazy salty over today's Alabama/Florida State game. The Crimson Tide was an absolute mess out there (and that's being kind!) Their defense started pulling their weight in the second half, but that first half was pure pain to watch. In addition, we had Over 48.5 to cash...final total? 48. 🤯

Florida State fans: I'm happy for you. And I know, I know – just the way it goes some days. BUT, thankfully, Player Props kept us from losing our shirts 😂

One last thing before I turn in for the night: JEFF HOFFMAN AGAIN! I can't believe the Toronto Blue Jays still put him out there in the 9th inning. The Brewers bagged 2 HRs off of him and locked down a win. I'm convinced that Jays opponents must see Hoffman walking out onto the mound and think, "We got this!" 😂

ANYWAY... Now I'm off. I promised myself I'd record Episode 1 of my Podcast this evening (LFG!) Today's games have undoubtedly given me plenty to talk about.

Now that's more like it, friends – picks hit 3/4 today! And, I played two of today's picks with a half unit on them, so it's really like we hit 'Pick of the Day' twice 😌👊🏽 And my gosh, did we ever earn those wins after last night's insanity. I have to say, I'm not sure what happened to Houston tonight – getting smoked by the Rockies is a special brand of embarrassment 😵‍💫 Though having said that, baseball math dictates that as a result of tonight's bed shitting (let's just call it what it was...), the Astros will likely show up in spades tomorrow – at least, one would think 😂

Thankfully, my two biggest plays this evening were the Pirates/Cardinals Over and the Twins/Blue Jays Over! And speaking of the Jays, their bullpen ever a mess this evening. Jeff Hoffman giving up 2 homers in the 9th was rough for Toronto fans, but pure magic for anyone who had Over 8.5 to cash 😁

Overall we had a profitable night, betting fam – I couldn't be more thrilled.

Just a heads up, tomorrow's Pick of the Day is already up and out! I have a feeling that line will move drastically by morning, so I locked it in earlier than usual. 😌

I'm just going to come right out and say it, fam – today was brutal! The baseball powers-that be were wildly unforgiving. And yet, I honestly didn't hate any of my reads today – sometimes the math just doesn't math unfortunately. 

For those of you that are new here, I try to do a post-game recap both when we win and when we lose... while it's always nice to win together, sometimes it helps to sulk and commiserate together as well. Tonight, we'll be doing the latter 😂🥵

Funny – after the Detroit Tigers game ended, someone in our community sent me a message and asked if losing bothers me. I'm going to be wildly candid about this: the short answer, is no. A loss day doesn't bother me, a losing week doesn't bother me, and hell, even the odd losing month doesn't bother me. Though, the reason losses in the short-term don't bother me is because I know that in the grand scheme, these losses are minimal. 

Let me put this into perspective for you, friends – and let's use baseball as an example because that's what's giving us grief at the moment. The MLB season is long; bettors literally have 162 games to turn a profit! And over the course of the year – an entire year of major league sports – a bad month is peanuts. 

So for those of you that are feeling down and/or discouraged because of a rough stretch, don't be. There will be plenty of opportunities to get your bankroll groove back, so to speak. Fun fact: we quite literally always recover from a bad week 😉

On that note, I'm off to plan my revenge on sports book for today's casualties.

I think my biggest gripe of the day is the HR Willy Adames hit for San Francisco in the 8th inning, which ultimately tanked the MIL Brewers RL. I'm thrilled however that the Giants forced extra innings and gave us a chance to at least lock in the Brewers Team Total.
