Why This Pick

It’s tough for me to bet on a low score with Mitch Keller’s (4.13 ERA) name on the schedule – so I won’t (lol). Between Keller and Luis Severino (4.82 ERA), this total should see at least 9. Severino has allowed 8 runs on 10 hits in just his last 2 starts – it makes no sense to put money on an Under with a statistic like that in the wings. In addition, the As have won 6 of their last 7 games, and haven’t had much issue putting runs in the bag over the last week. I don’t trust either pitcher and both bullpens leave a ton to be desired – I’ll happily take the Over to cash.
