Why These Picks?

MIA Heat v ORL Magic: A big total, I know – but these two squads have crushed 242 in both of their matchups so far this season. While each team fares well defensively, their offenses seem to have each other’s number. I highly suspect that Miami will force the Magic to play at its break-neck pace for the majority of this encounter – I’m on the Over to hit.

PHX Suns v HOU Rockets: There are very few wagers I like more than the Rockets to bag a win at home; and without Devin Booker and Jalen Green, I think Phoenix will struggle something awful here. Houston is formidable on defense to begin with, and without the fire power that is Devin Booker, I’ll be surprised if the Suns crack 100 points tonight. At 4-1 ATS in their last 5 outings, I’ve gotta put my money on the Rockets to cover at home.

DAL Stars v SJ Sharks: I can’t quite pinpoint why, but this is one of my favourite matchups in Hockey. One team is infinitely better than the other, but San Jose has kept some close games with Dallas over the last couple years. That said, the Over has cashed in 4 of their last 5 matchups, and the Stars should have no issue bagging goals this evening. Take the Over to hit.
