Why These Picks?

MIA Heat v BOS Celtics: I’m not sure who hurt Miami, but the Heat have now dropped 5 of their last 6 games. Meanwhile, Boston has won 7 of their last 10, and 4 of their last 5 home games. Ultimately, I just think the Celtics are playing much better basketball at home than Miami is on the road. It also doesn’t help that the Heat will be playing this encounter against the Celtics on the tail end of a back-to-back.  Take Boston to cover.

DAL Stars v ANA Ducks: I like a high-scoring affair here. The Stars are playing on a back to back, and the Ducks have been on fire offensively (particularly on their own ice). Anaheim’s last 6 straight home games have seen at least 7 goals – take the Over to cash.
