The Penguins and the Blue Jackets have cashed the Over in their last 7 straight meetings; and, as far as recent performance goes, Columbus has put at least 3 goals in the bag in 4 of their last 5 outings, while Pittsburgh is fresh off of getting 6 goals past the Philadelphia Flyers. My money’s on a high-scoring affair here.
WAS Wizards v DEN Nuggets: The Wizards have lost their last 5 games by double digits, and they’ll be playing this one on the tail end of a back-to-back against a Nuggets squad that has proven to be shockingly capable without some of its best players. Having won 5 of their last 6 games, I’ve gotta roll with the home team to cover the spread.
BOS Bruins v CHI Blackhawks: The Bruins have been on a tear over the last couple of weeks. Boston has won 7 of their last 8 games, -120 feels like a bargain against the Blackhawks (who, have lost 3 of their last 4). I won’t overthink this one – I’m on the Bruins to bag a win.
