Why These Picks?

SAC Kings v MEM Grizzlies: Memphis has won their last 3 straight meetings with Sacramento, and while their last game was a close won, the Grizzlies still won by 4. At this point in time, the Kings have lost their last 16 straight games, and are an abysmal 3-26 SU on the road. For this reason, they will quite literally be the last team I trust with my money. I’m on the home squad to cover, friends. As for the total, the Grizzlies have cashed the Over in 8 of their last 9 games (including in a matchup with the Kings back on Feb 4th). I’ll toss a sprinkle on tonight’s encounter to follow suit.

SA Spurs v DET Pistons: This one could be a nail biter. That said, I do like the way Detroit is playing ball just a bit more than San Antonio as of late. The Pistons have won their last 5 straight games against some tough opponents, and while the Spurs are equally as formidable, I have to give the edge to the slightly (SO slight…) better defense at home. I’m on Detroit to pick up a win. As for the total, these two squads both sit in the top 3 for best defensive teams in the league. I’ll sprinkle the Under to cash.
