Why This Pick?
Post-season or not, Jack Flahertyās (4.64 ERA) name on the schedule will always equate to a higher-scoring affair in my brain, friends. And in recent past, he hasnāt faired well at all against the Cleveland Guardians (or against anyone, really!) 4 of Flahertyās last 5 starts have resulted in a loss for Detroit, so Iām very curious to see how he fares today. On the other side, Cleveland will send Slade Cecconi (4.30 ERA) to the mound. With 4 earned runs on Cecconiās last 5 allowed hits, I canāt say Iām excited to back either squad this afternoon. I will however take the Over to cash with confidence.
