Plain and simple, Casey Mize (3.87 ERA) has not been the Tigers’ most reliable starter this season. To boot, he’s carrying an ERA of 4.04 around on the road, and this will be his first stint in the post-season; I expect the Guardians to capitalize with both the home and pitching advantage (Tanner Bibee is better at home than his overall ERA suggests). Cleveland has won 4 of Bibee’s (4.24 ERA) last 5 starts, and 3 of those 4 wins have been by at least 2 runs. So what’s Pick of the Day? I’ll put my money on the Guardians to score at least 4 here.
