Why This Pick?

The Commanders have lost their last 6 games and clearly lack direction. Switching between Daniels and Mariota all season long surely hasn’t helped with consistency, and neither QB has been able to deliver when it counts. On the other side, Denver is 9-2 – and despite many of their victories being narrow ones, I’m confident they’ll cover here simply because Washington hasn’t covered in the same previously mentioned 6 straight outings. I do think Denver’s offense needs some work, but the Commanders’ defense has been abysmal and I don’t think Denver will have to work too hard. The Broncos are rested and the Commanders are flailing – I’m on Denver to cover here.
