Why This Pick?

These two squads have cashed the Over in both games of this series so far, and I have no doubt they do the same today. I’ll be honest – I don’t love this evening’s starters. Guardians pitcher Slade Cecconi (3.84 ERA) gave up 6 runs to the Athletics in his last outing, while Baltimore starter Zach Eflin (5.95 ERA) has given up a whopping 17 runs over his last 3 starts. I know the Orioles have been pretty terrible since returning from the break, but they tend to put enough runs on the board to contribute to a high-scoring affair. To boot, the last 6 straight encounters between the Orioles and Guardians in Cleveland have seen at least 9 runs. My money’s on the Over to hit here, friends.
