Why These Picks?
PHX Suns v TO Raptors: The Suns have had a good week, friends – after watching them pull off a healthy win over the Charlotte Hornets, I don’t doubt they’ll cover here in Toronto. Phoenix has won 6 of their last 7 games SU, and the Raptors have dropped 4 of their last 5. My money’s on the Suns to keep it close this evening.
NO Pelicans v HOU Rockets: Despite the Pelicans having covered the spread in 3 of their last 4 outings, I don’t think they’ll do so here against Houston. The Rockets play their best ball at home and have covered the spread in 6 of their last 7 meetings with New Orleans and in 4 of their last 5 home games. Take Houston to win by a very feasible margin.
🐶 LA Kings v NY Islanders: The Kings have won 8 of their last 9 meetings with the Islanders – and I’ll be honest, that stat surprises me. And while I do think NY is playing better hockey right now, Los Angeles bagged a win over the Islanders just last week by multiple goals. I’ll throw a sprinkle on the Kings to pull off the upset.
