SEA Mariners v MIN Twins: The Twins (finally!) managed to bag a win yesterday, but I have to take the Mariners for plus money here. Seattle’s offense has been far more reliable than Minnesota’s, and despite yesterday’s shutout, I think the Mariners will resume their scoring tear in this encounter. The Twins will start Simeon Woods Richardson (5.06 ERA), and while he’s had a couple solid outings, Minnesota has lost all 3 of his last starts. Take Seattle to win for the nice price, friends.
TB Rays v KC Royals: I know the Royals are avoiding a sweep here, but the Rays offense has been too solid for me to bet against. To boot, starter Tampa Bay starter Shane Baz has been awesome on the road, and the Rays have won his last 5 straight starts. On the other side, 4 of Kansas City starter Michael Lorenzen’s (4.81 ERA) last 5 outings have all seen final totals over at least 11. It’s bold, but I’m on the Rays to sweep and on the Over to cash.
The Athletics v DET Tigers: The Tigers were unusually shutout yesterday – I simply don't think that'll be the case here with Jeffrey Springs (4.24 ERA) on the mound. I fully expect Detroit to clap back in spades and put at least 5 runs on the board here. Take the Team Total Over.
