Why These Picks?

BUF Sabres v CLB Blue Jackets: This is a great price for a team that’s won their last 10 straight games. Buffalo would have to have a pretty bad day here to take a loss to Columbus in my opinion. The Sabres have yet to confirm their goalie, but I imagine Luukkonen (2.46 GAA) will get the start. Until Buffalo stops making me money, I’ll ride this ticket until it stops cashing. I’m on the Sabres to bag another win.

MTL Canadiens v STL Blues: The Over has cashed in 5 of Montreal’s last 6 outings, while St. Louis’ last 3 straight have seen at least 6 goals. Neither side has confirmed their goaltender at the time of writing, but it’s very likely Jordan Binnington (3.56 GAA) who’s been rough lately, and 3 of Joel Hofer’s last 4 outings have seen a higher total. Regardless of who ends up in net here, I’d take the Over to hit, friends.

SEA Seahawks v SF 49ers: There’s some great defense on the field between these two teams, but I don’t think it’ll stop either side from pushing this total to at least 48. Both squads have explosive offenses that are tough to keep at bay; the 49ers have cashed the Over in spades in each of their last 3 straight contests, and while Seattle has played some low-scoring games over the past month, I have a feeling this encounter will feel a lot like their 70+ point matchup with Los Angeles. My money’s on the Over today.

CHA Hornets v CHI Bulls: If sports book thinks this game is going to fall within a single basket, I don’t doubt a high-scoring affair. Neither of these teams plays solid defense, and both Charlotte & Chicago have put 120+ points on the board in each of their last 2 games. I’ll take the Over to cash.
