Meanwhile, the team’s offense has bagged no less than 5 runs in their last 4 straight starts. On the other side, starter Bailey Ober (5.15 ERA) has allowed 16 hits and 3 HRs in his last 3 outings. I think this game turns into a shootout – take the Over to cash.

NY Mets v WAS Nationals: The last 4 straight encounters between the Mets and the Nationals have seen 9 runs or less. In addition, 4 of Brad Lord’s (3.26 ERA) last 5 starts have seen 7 runs or fewer. To be frank, Lord is one of Washington’s better pitchers (despite his RP status), but I still like the Mets offense to win by at least 2.
