Why This Pick?

The last 3 meetings between these squads have found themselves well beyond 229 points, friends. In addition, as much as I’m not in a rush to back the Hornets, at home is the one place where they don’t seem to struggle putting points on the board (Charlotte actually won their last home game against Chicago just a couple weeks ago…), and the Bulls have lost their last 7 straight outings. Given that the spread in this game is only -3.0 (it was -1.5 before LaMelo Ball was ruled out…), it looks like the book has plenty of confidence in their ability to keep up with the second fastest team in the NBA. Despite the growing ILs, I think Chicago has an opportunity to “ball out” here so to speak. I’m on the Over to cash.
