Why This Pick?

Brad Lord will kick things off for the Nationals – and as a Relief Pitcher, I imagine he’ll only pitch a limited number of innings (though his last 2 outings saw him go a good 4 or 5 IP!) In any case, the Nationals bullpen continues to be the team’s biggest weakness. As they have in the last 2 games of this series, I fully expect the Brewers offense to run all over Washington. Pitcher Logan Henderson (1.71 ERA) will fill in for Jacob Misiorowski this afternoon; and while Henderson hasn’t pitched since May, the man is a flawless 3-0 having won all of his starts this season. There are plenty of picks to be made for this game, friends – but I’ll roll with the Over to cash for ‘Pick of the Day’.
