Why This Pick?
The powerhouse that is Toronto’s offense should have little to no issue bagging runs against starter Ryan Gusto (4.89 ERA). The Over has cashed with ease in 4 of Gusto’s last 5 starts, and he’s allowed 13 runs in his last 3 outings against far lesser batting lineups. On the other side, starter Shane Bieber is making his Blue Jays debut this evening, friends! And while I’m confident that Toronto takes a win here, I won’t risk the RL on Bieber’s first start since April – I fully expect the home squad to get a few runs past him. My money’s on the Over to hit today.
