Why This Pick?
I’m taking a slight alternate here for a better price, friends. I just can’t get on board with -125…especially given how big a travesty this pitching matchup is (lol). Pittsburgh starter Mike Burrows’ last (and only…) 2 outings have seen final scores of 13 runs or more. On the other side, Astros starter Ryan Gusto is a logged 3-2, but his last 5 straight outings have seen Houston take an L – I imagine money on the Pirates is heavy today. That said, I do think the Astros will run up a healthy total on Pittsburgh here, and the Pirates should find more than a couple opportunities to score – I’m on this alternate Over to cash.
