Aug 26, 2025: Belle's Picks, Player Props & Parlays ⚾️

August 26, 2025

Today's Picks

-BOS Red Sox ML (-110) | 0.25 Units

-PIT Pirates v STL Cardinals Over 8.0 (-115) | 0.5 Units

-MIN Twins v TOR Blue Jays Over 8.5 (-120) | 0.5 Units

-HOU Astros Team Total Over 5.5 (+130) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

BOS Red Sox v BAL Orioles: Red Sox starter Lucas Giolito (3.72 ERA) is an impressive 8-2 this season (I can hardly believe it!) Meanwhile, Kyle Bradish is returning to start after more than a year off. Between looking to hold on to their playoff spot and coming to this encounter with both an advantage on the mound and in their offense, I’ve gotta roll with Boston to claim victory.

MIN Twins v TOR Blue Jays: 4 of Toronto starter Chris Bassitt’s (4.18 ERA) last 5 outings have cashed the Over with ease, friends. Having allowed 16 hits over his last 3 outings, I won’t be surprised to see Minnesota get a few runs on the board here. That said, Bailey Ober’s (5.05 ERA) last 5 straight starts have earned the Twins a loss. Pitting the Blue Jays powerhouse batting lineup against a starter with an ERA over 5.00? I won’t be surprised if they go ahead and cash the Over all by themselves (again…) today. My money’s on this encounter to see at least 9 runs.

PIT Pirates v STL Cardinals: I’ll be honest – I can’t imagine a universe where this game total doesn’t find itself on the moon, as neither of these pitchers can reliably keep runs off the board. 4 of Mitch Keller’s (4.34 ERA) last 5 starts have seen a score of at least 10 runs, and St. Louis starter Andre Pallante (5.17 ERA) has allowed a staggering 21 hits over his last 3 outings. Take the Over to cash.

COL Rockies v HOU Astros: Colorado starter Tanner Gordon (7.11 ERA) has had some ROUGH outings, betting fam. With the Astros at home here, I fully expect them to run all over the Rockies who are an abysmal 13-43 on the road. I’m grabbing an alternate team total and wagering that Houston puts at least 6 runs on the board today.

Aug 26, 2025: Belle's Prop of the Day 🧢

August 26, 2025

-Christian Walker Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110) | 0.25 Units

(COL Rockies v HOU Astros)

Why This Prop?

Christian Walker has actually hit a Home Run in 3 of his last 5 games, and has snagged at least 1 base in 4 of those last 5. To be frank, I don’t expect Walker will have any issue bagging a double against starter Tanner Gordon. The Astros have yet to release their starting lineup, but assuming Walker is in it, this is the play.

Aug 25, 2025: Post-Game Recap (+ Nightcap) 😤☕️

August 30, 2025

I'm just going to come right out and say it, fam – today was brutal! The baseball powers-that be were wildly unforgiving. And yet, I honestly didn't hate any of my reads today – sometimes the math just doesn't math unfortunately.

For those of you that are new here, I try to do a post-game recap both when we win and when we lose... while it's always nice to win together, sometimes it helps to sulk and commiserate together as well. Tonight, we'll be doing the latter 😂🥵

Funny – after the Detroit Tigers game ended, someone in our community sent me a message and asked if losing bothers me. I'm going to be wildly candid about this: the short answer, is no. A loss day doesn't bother me, a losing week doesn't bother me, and hell, even the odd losing month doesn't bother me. Though, the reason losses in the short-term don't bother me is because I know that in the grand scheme, these losses are minimal.

Let me put this into perspective for you, friends – and let's use baseball as an example because that's what's giving us grief at the moment. The MLB season is long; bettors literally have 162 games to turn a profit! And over the course of the year – an entire year of major league sports – a bad month is peanuts.

So for those of you that are feeling down and/or discouraged because of a rough stretch, don't be. There will be plenty of opportunities to get your bankroll groove back, so to speak. Fun fact: we quite literally always recover from a bad week 😉

On that note, I'm off to plan my revenge on sports book for today's casualties.

I'll see you all bright and early to conquer the books!

X

Belle

Aug 25, 2025: Belle's Picks, Player Props & Parlays (Premium) ⚾️

August 25, 2025

Today's Picks

-ATL Braves v MIA Marlins Over 7.5 (-120) | 0.25 Units

-MIA Marlins Team Total Over 3.5 (-115)

-LA Angels v TEX Rangers Over 7.0 (-120) | 0.25 Units

-DET Tigers -1.5 (-120) | 0.25 Units

-DET Tigers Team Total Over 5.5 (+110) | 0.5 Units

Why These Picks?

ATL Braves v MIA Marlins: The Over has cashed in 4 of Cabrera’s last 5 starts, and 5 of the last 6 encounters between these two squads have seen at least 8 runs. With Braves starter Spencer Strider having allowed a ridiculous 20 runs in his last 3 outings, I simply have to take the Over to cash, betting family. I'll also toss a sprinkle on the Marlins to put at least 4 runs on the board.

LA Angels v TEX Rangers: Good as starter Jacob deGrom (2.76 ERA) is, 4 of his last 5 outings have see at least 7 runs. On the other side, Jose Soriano (4.00 ERA) has given up 12 runs across his last 3 outings. Worst case I say we get the push here – but my money's on the Over to cash.

DET Tigers v The Athletics: I’m rolling with the plus money return here, friends. I don’t expect the home squad to get much past Tarik Skubal (2.32 ERA), and Detroit has put at least 8 runs on the board in 3 of their last 4 encounters with the As. In addition, starter J.T. Ginn (4.95 ERA) has been brutal in his last 2 home outings. Between Ginn and the As bullpen, the Tigers should have no issue running up a total here. I’m on the Tigers to bag at least 6.
