06/08: Props Dominate, Pick of the Day Saves the Day 😌🔥

June 8, 2025

Let’s start with the good stuff, friends — Player Props came in real strong, hitting 3 out of 4 and nearly snagging us the sweep. If you’ve been riding the Props train lately, congrats – they've been having a great week. Love to see it!

On the Picks front, it was a bit of a rocky outing — 1 out of 4 hit, but thankfully, that one was the Pick of the Day and our full unit play, which saved us from taking a steep loss. Not the flashiest performance, but smart unit sizing saved the bankroll today 😉💰

For those curious, here's what we had:

Player Props (3/4)

-TOR Blue Jays v MIN Twins: Joe Ryan Over 5.5 Strikeouts (+120) ✅

-LA Dodgers v STL Cardinals: Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 Total Bases (-130) ✅

-IND Pacers v OKC Thunder: Tyrese Haliburton Over 16.5 Points (-120) ✅

-IND Pacers v OKC Thunder: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 47.5 Points, Assists & Rebounds (-110) ❌

Picks (1/4)

-LA Dodgers v STL Cardinals Over 9.0 (-115) ✅

-ARI Diamondbacks v CIN Reds Over 9.5 (-110) ❌

-ARI Diamondbacks ML (-115) ❌

-LA Angels -0.5 First 5 Innings (+135) ❌

---

As for today's parlay… we missed by a single leg. And this one killed me. Why? Because it just required the Angels to bag 4 runs against the abysmal George Kirby. The guy’s been giving runs away for weeks — and tonight, the Angels made him look like a Cy Young winner with 14 strikeouts! WTF? 😂

On the props front, my god — we were SO CLOSE to the sweep. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander landed at 47 PRA — missed it by half a point. That said, I hear a few of you locked it in at 46.5 — if that’s you, massive congrats on your 4/4 💸

Well betting fam, that's all I've got for this evening as far as picks are concerned. Overall, we came out of today unscathed.

As an aside: if you’re reading this on our brand new website, WELCOME! I can't tell you how excited I am to finally be on our own platform. And for the many who’ve asked: YES — a “Belle’s Picksapp is coming soon to both iOS and Android for all the degens who prefer push notifications to emails 👏🏽😅

Alright — now I'm really done. Off to bed I go! As always, I’ll see you bright and early to take on the books. 👊🏼

June 8, 2025

Today's Pick of the Day is a hit, friends! A huge congratulations to everyone that tailed, and for those curious, here's what we had:

I'm so stoked that this cashed – and on a full unit play! 😉 Enjoy your win, betting fam – and on to the next we go.

06/08: Belle's Picks & Player Props ⚾️

June 8, 2025

Today's Picks

-LA Dodgers v STL Cardinals Over 9.0 (-115) | 1 Unit

-ARI Diamondbacks v CIN Reds Over 9.5 (-110) | 0.25 Units

-ARI Diamondbacks ML (-115) | 0.25 Units

-LA Angels -0.5 First 5 Innings (+135) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

LA Dodgers v STL Cardinals: This game should see plenty of scoring, friends. Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw (5.17 ERA) hasn’t pitched more than 5 innings in any of his outings so far this season, which means the LA bullpen will likely make an early entrance. On the other side, St. Louis will start rookie Michael McGreevy – while his season debut was a good one, the Dodgers offense is bound to give him a run for his money in an effort not to get swept (for what would be just the second time this season). Despite the Under cashing for the first two games in this series, I’m on a high-scoring affair this afternoon.

ARI Diamondbacks v CIN Reds: Zac Gallen is a little sharper on the road than his overall ERA would lead you to believe, but his last 2 outings saw final totals of 11. E.g. Gallen’s last outing saw the Atlanta Braves get a mere 1 run past him, but the final score still ended up in the double digits. On the other side, starter Brady Singer has allowed 17 earned runs over his last 5 games. I think the Over will cash here friends, and as long as the Arizona bullpen doesn't completely melt, the Diamondbacks should be able to avoid getting swept.

SEA Mariners v LA Angels: I know the Mariners will be trying like hell to avoid the sweep, so they might make some wild moves once the LA bullpen comes in. But with George Kirby (8.56 ERA) on the mound, I have to wager that the Angels will run up a decent total in the first 5 innings. I say they hold the lead by at least 1 run for the first half of the game.

06/07: Phillies really put the "P" in PTSD Today... Post-Game Recap ☕️😌

June 11, 2025

It's that time again, friends! Here comes the daily recap 📝 I must say, I really writing these – over the last year and a half, I think the post-game recap (and the nightcap...) has become a really nice ritual. Anywho, enough of my chit chat – picks went 3/5 today, and player props went 2/4! Certainly not a bad day, but not an amazing one either. In short: we live to fight another day 😌👊🏼

For those curious, here's what we had:

Picks (3/5)

-MIL Brewers ML (-115) ✅

-SD Padres v MIL Brewers Under 8.5 (-115) ✅

-HOU Astros ML (-115) ✅

-PHI Phillies -1.5 (+110) ❌

-HOU Astros v CLE Guardians Under 7.0 (+100) ❌

---

Player Props (2/4)

-LA Dodgers v STL Cardinals: Yoshinobu Yamamoto Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-115) ✅

-BOS Red Sox v NY Yankees: Garrett Crochet Over 7.5 Strikeouts (-140) ✅

-PHI Phillies v PIT Pirates: Nick Castellanos Over 1.5 Total Bases (-105) ❌

-PHI Phillies v PIT Pirates: Trea Turner Over 1.5 Total Bases (-110) ❌

--

Philadelphia, you cut me deep today. I think that encounter with the Pirates gave me a touch of baseball PTSD (the "P" stands for Phillies now...) Am I being dramatic? Maybe. But let me have this, okay? 😂

On another note, I was really hoping the Astros would end their game 4-3, but alas, they overachieved and finished 5-3. But hey, we'll take the win.

Lastly, today's parlay was a miss unfortunately – but fear not, I have a feeling we'll cash a few of them this week!

Alright friends, that's all for tonight! As always, tomorrow, we go again ;) I'll see you all bright and early to take on the books.

June 7, 2025

Today's Picks

-PHI Phillies -1.5 (+110) | 0.5 Units

-HOU Astros ML (-115) | 0.25 Units

-HOU Astros v CLE Guardians Under 7.0 (+100) | 0.25 Units

-MIL Brewers ML (-115) | 0.25 Units

-SD Padres v MIL Brewers Under 8.5 (-115) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

PHI Phillies v PIT Pirates: The Phillies have had a rough couple of weeks friends, but that changes today. Starter Ranger Suarez (2.72 ERA) is a cool 4-0, and each one of his logged wins has seen the Phillies claim victory by at least 2 runs. Suarez has only allowed 4 runs across his last 5 outings; I think he’ll do more than enough to keep Pittsburgh in check here. On the other side, Pirates starter Andrew Heaney (3.39 ERA) has allowed 7 runs in his last two outings, and 4 of his last 5 outings have seen Pittsburgh take an L. Even with Bryce Harper out of the lineup today, I still think Philadelphia turns up and covers the RL here.

SD Padres v MIL Brewers: Both Kolek & Quintana have pitched some great games – and both have had a “meltdown game” in their last 3 outings. So long as they both don’t decide to pull a meltdown today, the Under should cash. Quintana has only allowed 1-2 runs in 4 of his last 5 starts, and while Kolek had a solid outing against San Francisco last week, he’s allowed 14 runs over his last 4 starts. I’m on the Under to cash and on Milwaukee to bag a win.

HOU Astros v CLE Guardians: It feels like just yesterday that I was roasting Hunter Brown (1.83 ERA) for allowing the Kansas City Royals to get 9 runs past him in the 1st inning – ahh, memories! Two years later, Brown has become a reliable starter. I feel like a proud baseball parent! Having allowed just 7 runs over his last 5 games, I think Brown will keep the Guardians in check here. That said, I expect a low-scoring affair, as Cleveland’s Gavin Williams (3.79 ERA) is pretty capable himself these days. I’m on the Astros to lock down a win on the road and on the Under to hit.
