June 22, 2025: Belle's Picks ⚾️🏀

June 22, 2025

Today's Picks

-ARI Diamondbacks v COL Rockies Over 12.5 (-120) | 0.5 Units

-ATL Braves v MIA Marlins Under 8.5 (-105) | 0.25 Units

-WAS Nationals v LA Dodgers Over 9.5 (-110) | 0.25 Units

-OKC Thunder -7.0 (-110) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

ARI Diamondbacks v COL Rockies: A game at Coors Field with Antonio Senzatela (6.72 ERA) & Brandon Pfaadt (5.38 ERA) on the mound? A game total of 50 runs wouldn’t shock me under this circumstance (lol). Both of these guys have given up their fair share of runs over their last 5 starts, and at hitter friendly Coors Field, this game should see plenty of scoring. Senzatela is currently sporting a Home ERA of 7.51, while Pfaadt has a staggering 6.53 ERA on the road. I know it’s a big number, but I’m on the Over to cash here, friends.

ATL Braves v MIA Marlins: The Braves have had little to no issue scoring on the Marlins, and I imagine that may be the case again today with Sandy Alcantara (6.88 ERA) on the mound. That said, Alcantara has had a couple of really good outings, and I think Miami will avoid a second shutout today and be eager to bag a series win. I know that Bryce Elder is one of Atlanta’s weaker pitchers, but only 2 of the last 10 meetings between these two teams has actually made it Over 8.5. I simply can't ignore a stat like that – the Over hitting would quite literally be an anomaly. My money's on the Under to cash.

WAS Nationals v LA Dodgers: I think tonight’s encounter between Washington and LA goes to the moon. Michael Soroka (5.06 ERA) is sitting at a sizeable 6.12 ERA away from home, and the Dodgers will surely take advantage after last night’s beating. Shohei Ohtani (9.00 ERA) will start on the mound for LA tonight, but I don’t expect him to pitch more than an inning or two. With the Dodgers likely cycling through the bullpen after that, this game should easily clear 9.5.

IND Pacers v OKC Thunder: The Thunder have repeatedly come back and won big after taking a humbling loss all season. With everything on the line, tonight will be no exception. To boot, Oklahoma City will be playing for the Championship at home this evening. I’m on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and company to win by a nice margin and take home the trophy.

06/21: Belle's Picks, Player Props & Parlays (Premium) ⚾️

June 21, 2025

Today's Picks

-ATL Braves Team Total Over 4.5 (-120) | 0.25 Units

-CHI Cubs Team Total Over 6.5 (-110) | 0.25 Units

-CHI White Sox v TOR Blue Jays Over 8.5 (-115) | 0.25 Units

-WAS Nationals v LA Dodgers Over 9.0 (-120) | 0.5 Units

Why These Picks?

ATL Braves v MIA Marlins: The Marlins offense is always a wild card in my opinion. Some days they turn up in spades, others I wonder if they’re even at the game they’re scheduled to play (lol). For this reason, I’ll steer clear of the overall total. Miami starter Eury Perez (6.43 ERA) has only had 2 starts this season and allowed 5 ERs across the pair, but both were against incredibly mediocre offenses (Washington Nationals & Pittsburgh Pirates). After suffering a loss at the hands of the Marlins just yesterday, my money’s on the Braves offense to show up motivated and put at least 5 on the board.

SEA Mariners v CHI Cubs: A game total set as high as 12.5 at Wrigley undoubtedly means the wind is working overtime in favour of a high-scoring affair. That said, I’m rolling with the Cubs’ team total today, as I’m not the biggest fan of Emerson Hancock (4.48 ERA). Cade Horton (3.47 ERA) has been rock solid at home, and despite the advantageous conditions, I think it’s Chicago who will be using them to put runs in the bank.

CHI White Sox v TOR Blue Jays: With the White Sox looking like they’ll be rolling another bullpen game and the Blue Jays eager to make up for yesterday’s loss, I think the Over will cash in spades here. 3 of starter Jose Berrios’ last 4 outings have seen game totals of at least 9 runs, and while he’s typically a solid arm, his last trip to the mound saw him earn 6 runs. Chicago showed us yesterday that they have no issue getting runs on the board, but on the flip side, I certainly don’t trust their bullpen to deliver 2 days in a row. Give me the Over to cash.

**UPDATE, 9:15AM PST: Aaron Civale is now listed as pitching for the White Sox.

WAS Nationals v LA Dodgers: I don’t doubt that the Dodgers can put runs on the board against even the most formidable pitching opponents. The real question is whether or not the Nationals will be able to get more than a few past starter Dustin May (4.46 ERA). 3 of May’s last 4 outings have all seen totals of at least 9 runs. On the other side, LA managed to get 6 runs past MacKenzie Gore (arguably one of Washington’s better starters) just yesterday. I don’t think the Dodgers will have any issue running up a total on Jake Irvin (4.23 ERA), friends, and the Nats offense should be able to hold their own with Dustin May on the mound. Take the Over to hit.

06/21: Belle’s Pick of the Day 🛎️

June 20, 2025

-WAS Nationals v LA Dodgers Over 9.0 (-120) | 0.5 Units

Why This Pick?

I don’t doubt that the Dodgers can put runs on the board against even the most formidable pitching opponents. The real question is whether or not the Nationals will be able to get more than a few past starter Dustin May (4.46 ERA). 3 of May’s last 4 outings have seen totals of at least 9 runs. On the other hand, LA managed to get 6 runs past MacKenzie Gore (arguably one of Washington’s better starters) just yesterday. Prior to Gore's encounter with the Dodgers, he'd allowed a mere 5 ERs over his last 5 outings – but I digress. For this reason, I don’t think the Dodgers will have any issue running up a total on Jake Irvin (4.23 ERA), friends, and the Nats offense should be able to hold their own and cross home plate a few times with Dustin May on the mound. Take the Over to hit.

06/20: Picks 2/3, Props 1/2, What the *@#%, Blue Jays?! 😂☕️

June 20, 2025

It's time for our post-game recap (and nightcap), friends! I'll start with the good news: today was decent! 😌 Picks hit 2/3, Player Props hit 1/2; we essentially broke even on the big stuff! For those curious, here's what we had:

Picks (2/3)

 -TB Rays ML (-115) ✅

-DET Tigers v TB Rays Over 8.0 (-115) ✅

-TO Blue Jays -1.5 (-105) ❌

Player Props (1/2)

-CHI White Sox v TO Blue Jays: Bo Bichette Over 1.5 Total Bases (-120) ✅

-TEX Rangers v PIT Pirates: Mike Burrows Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-125) ❌

*We had 3 props, but one was voided due to a player being ruled out of the lineup.

---

I always have mixed feelings when all of our picks EXCEPT 'Pick of the Day' hit. Speaking of, let's talk about that 'Pick of the Day'. I think I speak for all of us when I say, "What the HELL were the Blue Jays doing out there?" Seriously, what a travesty of a game for their offense!

To be frank, the first two pitchers should never have been allowed to step foot on the mound – I can't even believe they were left in the game for so long. But pitching staff aside, the batting lineup should've been able to get Toronto in the game – we're talking about the Chicago White Sox, here! Unbelievable. 🤯

But you know what? I won't dwell. Our other picks hit today and they kept us sitting pretty. Walk it off friends, don't let those Blue Jays get in your head! 😤 On another note, sadly today's parlay was a miss. The Chicago Cubs got absolutely smoked early on today by the Mariners with George Kirby on the mound (oddly enough), tanking our smaller parlay wager.

Overall, today was uneventful (my wallet says this is a good thing)!

As an aside, I'll actually have some pretty cool news for everyone later in the day tomorrow (keep your eyes on your inbox) 😉

That's all I've got for this evening, betting family. Enjoy the rest of your night, and as always, I'll see you all bright and early.

X

June 20, 2025

Today's Picks

-TO Blue Jays -1.5 (-105) | 0.5 Units

-TB Rays ML (-115) | 0.25 Units

-DET Tigers v TB Rays Over 8.0 (-115) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

CHI White Sox v TO Blue Jays: At just 7-31 on the road, it makes no sense to back the White Sox here, friends. The Blue Jays have won 9 of their last 10 meetings with the White Sox, and 7 of those 9 wins have all been by at least 2 runs. And,  while I don’t love that Relief Pitcher Spencer Turnbull is getting the start for Toronto (a bullpen game, no doubt) – he’s far from terrible having only allowed 1 run across his last 4 innings pitched. Fresh off a series win over the Diamondbacks, Toronto’s offense is just far too dialled in; I don’t think Chicago stands a chance. I’m on the Blue Jays to cover the RL at home.

DET Tigers v TB Rays: This may be an unpopular opinion, but I say the Rays bag a victory here. Jack Flaherty (4.03 ERA) might be my least favourite member of the Tigers’ starting rotation, and he got absolutely buried with 7 ERs in his last outing. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay starter Shane Baz (4.54 ERA) is coming off a flawless start (0 ERs) over  the New York Mets (a series which saw Tampa pull off a sweep). I know it’s tough to make a case for the Rays after watching their 2 losses at the hands of the Orioles, but my money’s on them to pick up a win here and on the Over to hit.
