While I don’t expect the total to go that high with Brooklyn on the road, the Nets have allowed at least 115 points in their last 3 outings. Bottom line? Boston’s offense should fare well enough at home to get at least that past Brooklyn’s lukewarm defense. I’m on the Celtics to put at least 114 in the bag this evening.

NY Knicks v MIL Bucks: I’m not in a rush to back the Bucks, but I do think they’ll manage to keep a close-ish game this evening. Milwaukee has pulled off some solid wins over the last couple of games at home (over Cleveland & Miami…), and while I’m not totally sold on the idea that they deliver an upset this evening, I do think they’ll cover the spread given how NY has been playing on the road. Take the home team to keep this encounter within 8.

Houston’s last 10 victories have all been by at least 4 points, and while the Magic has kept some really close games as of late, they were all against far lesser teams than the Rockets. Houston has won their last 4 straight meetings with the Magic, and despite the visitors being on a back-to-back here, my money is still on them to cover.

SAC Kings v DAL Mavericks: Wagering on the Kings to underperform has been nothing but a gravy train this past few weeks. And while the Mavericks defense leaves much to be desired, so does Sacramento’s offense. I’ll keep riding this gravy train until it stops cashing; take the Kings to put less than 114 points on the board.

WAS Wizards v ATL Hawks: The Hawks should bag a relatively easy win here on their own court. Atlanta played Washington just 2 days ago and the Wizards struggled to crack 100 points on the road. In fact, Washington’s last 5 straight losses have all been by double digits. I won’t overthink this one, friends – take the home team to cover the spread.

NO Pelicans v UTA Jazz: Undoubtedly one of my favourite high-scoring matchups, friends. The last 4 straight meetings between these two teams have cashed the Over, and the Jazz are far more capable offensively at home than they are on the road. In addition, Utah has cashed the Over in their last 3 straight outings, while New Orleans has hit it in 3 of their last 4. It’s a big number, I know – but these two squads have cleared it in all 3 of their last encounters in Utah. My money’s on this game to fall North of 242.5.
