Sept 23, 2025: Belle’s Pick of the Day 🛎️

September 29, 2025

-SD Padres ML (-115) | 0.5 Units

Why This Pick?

I don’t love Padres starter Randy Vasquez (3.94 ERA), but I definitely think he’ll be the better arm in today’s matchup. The Brewers are starting Bruce Zimmerman this evening, who hasn’t played in the Major League since 2023. San Diego plays a good game at home, they have the better bullpen, and have won 3 of their last 4 encounters with Milwaukee (when I looked back, this surprised me, to be honest…) At this stage in the season, I think the Padres will be more eager to lock down an additional victory as they fight to win their division. My money’s on the home squad tonight, friends.

Sept 22, 2025: Post-Game Recap (+ Nightcap) ☕️😌

September 22, 2025

Yeesh! What an underwhelming day, friends. For those of you that are new here, welcome to my “Post-Game Recap (+ Nightcap)!” I’ll be honest, this evening is more about the nightcap than anything 😅 I feel like we went from a fire few weeks into a very odd NFL weekend – though, Pick of the Day held up amidst the NFL crazy yesterday! Unfortunately picks took a loss tonight hitting 1/4 (ew!)

While I’m happy for all of the Lions fans around here, I can’t believe Derrick Henry fumbled the bag AGAIN. Derrick, I love you dude – but these 4th quarter fumbles need to go! Unless, of course, I have money on your opponent in the near future 😜😌 Kidding (sort of…)!

Shoutout to the Atlanta Braves for holding it down this evening (ATL Braves -1.5 ✅) – they covered the RL for us but overachieved handsomely, killing our wager on the Under.

Despite the odd couple days, we're still well in the green this month. I'll have September's record spreadsheet updated in full by Wednesday so you can all see where we're at 🤓

In addition, my latest podcast episode will be up and out tomorrow, and we'll return to our regularly scheduled programming! Keep your eyes peeled ;) Though I have to say, I might make Tuesdays the regular episode drop day – that way I can include a recap of the Monday night game in my weekly breakdown as well.

Alright everyone, I'm off for the night. As always, I'll see you all bright and early to conquer the books!

September 29, 2025

Today's Picks

-BAL Ravens -4.5 (-110) | 0.5 Units

-DET Lions v BAL Ravens Under 53.5 (-110) | 0.25 Units

-ATL Braves -1.5 (-115) | 0.25 Units

-WAS Nationals v ATL Braves Under 7.0 (+100) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

DET Lions v BAL Ravens: 6 of the last 7 meetings between these two teams have landed Under 53, and the Lions have lost 6 of their last 7 meetings with Baltimore. In addition, the Ravens have won their last 3 home games against Detroit by at least 24 points. That’s an overwhelming stat, friends – and to be frank, I think Detroit is going to encounter plenty of issues on the road against a well-rounded team like Baltimore. My money is undoubtedly on the Ravens to cover -4.5 at home, and on the Under to cash.

WAS Nationals v ATL Braves: MacKenzie Gore's (4.00 ERA) last encounter with the Braves was actually solid – the two teams went into extras at 0-0, where Atlanta ended up with a 5-0 victory. Which brings me to my point: No matter how well a starter performs for the Nationals, the bullpen will undoubtedly give their opponent the edge. In addition, Chris Sale (2.35 ERA) is far and away the better arm today. Give me the Braves to cover the RL & the Under to hit.

Today's Picks

-ATL Falcons v CAR Panthers Over 44.0 (-110) | 0.25 Units

-IND Colts v TEN Titans Over 43.5 (-110) | 0.5 Units

-GB Packers -7.5 (-105) | 0.25 Units

-CIN Bengals +3.0 (-110) | 0.25 Units

-NY Jets v TB Buccaneers Under 43.0 (-110) | 0.25 Units

Why These Picks?

ATL Falcons v CAR Panthers: The last two meetings between these squads cashed the Over in spades. To be frank, I totally expect this game to be a shootout that lands well on the other side of 44 points. The Falcons have scored at least 20 in their first two outings this season, and comically, Atlanta & Carolina have played some close games in recent past. With this game being the Panthers' first at home for the season, I Imagine they'll have some extra spring in their step. I’ll roll the dice on the Over this afternoon.

IND Colts v TEN Titans: The Colts have been putting mad points on the board this first couple of weeks, friends. I fully expected them to against the Miami Dolphins, but putting nearly 30 on the board against the Denver Broncos defense is a feat. I don’t love the Tennessee offense, but even a minimal contribution from them should push this final total Over 43.5. My money’s on this game to see at least 44.

CIN Bengals v MIN Vikings: I’m sorry – but the Vikings haven’t looked all that great. If Joe Burrow wasn’t out for this game, Cincinnati would undoubtedly be favoured. Given that both teams are rolling with a backup QB this afternoon, Jake Browning is no “newb”.  I’m going to give the Bengals the benefit of the doubt and say they cover if not outright upset this game on the road.

GB Packers v CLE Browns: The Packers offense is just far and away the better lineup. In addition, Green Bay’s defense has been the definition of a brick wall this last couple of weeks. The Packers should win this game by a TD and then some.

NY Jets v TB Buccaneers: I’m whole-heartedly on the Under here. Tampa’s defense looked phenomenal last week, and if the Jets have one thing going for them it’s their defensive line. In the event that Baker Mayfield & company run right through their visitors, I still think the encounter falls short of 43. Take the Under to cash.
