Time for the ol' post-game recap & night cap, friends 🤓☕️ Today was not our best – red days never feel good. Pick of the Day has also had a rough week! I find that the first week or two of a new season (NHL) are always a bit of a rollercoaster. But fear not, we'll bounce back as we always do. Picks went 1-2 today (ew...) but shoutout to the Dallas Stars and the Colorado Avalanche for cashing the Over for us (DAL Stars v COL Avalanche Over 6.0 ✅)!

I state this every so often – but for those of you that are new here (there are so many new faces!) as much as we celebrate our wins in this community, I also like to bring us all together to commiserate our loss days with a "Post-Game Recap + Nightcap" (most importantly, the nightcap... lol 🥃).

Why This Pick?

The Crimson are 3-0 ATS so far this season, friends – and in this matchup, they are far and away the more formidable squad. Cornell has lost their last 3 straight games by double digits, while Harvard has won their last 3 straight by at least 34 points. I expect the Crimson offense to have little issue here (especially at home). My money’s on Harvard to cover.

Blech! Tonight was a rough one, friends. The "nightcap" portion of tonight's recap is so necessary 🥃. Picks were a total bust! I actually don't remember the last time we had a dumpster fire night, but this evening was undoubtedly that. For those of you that are new here, while I love to send a post-game recap out when we win big, I also feel it's important to acknowledge when we lose. And, it's kind of nice to commiserate together 😂

I suppose the silver lining is that our Player Props hit 2/4. I'm truly stunned at some of tonight's game results. The LA Kings beat the Las Vegas Golden Knights 6-5?! And on a back-to-back, no less! Unbelievable. 

As for MLB, Yoshinobu Yamamoto absolutely melted on the mound – the Dodgers were damn near a no-show and the Phillies won 8-2. 

Speaking of no-shows, the NY Yankees lost to a tired Toronto Blue Jays bullpen. Though, bets aside, I'm stoked that Toronto won!

To summarize, it was just one of those days, betting family. We'll bounce back in spades – as we quite literally always do 😌👊🏽
